Job Description / Responsibility

SKS Foundation in partnership with Oxfam has been implementing REE-CALL project in Shaghata & Fulchari Upazilas of Gaibandha District. The mentioned position will be recruited for the Gender Enterprise and Market (GEM) Component under REECALL framework interventions:

Educational Requirements

Masters in Social Science. DVM or MBA is preferable.

Experience Requirements

• 2 to 3 year(s)

Additional Job Requirements

• Minimum 2-3 years working experience in Market Development related project.
• Understanding of multidimensional activities;
• capable to conduct market assessment survey and analyze market information to design project intervention/activities.
• Identify and analyze potential opportunities to improve dairy producer access to markets and build the technical capacity.
• Assist Project Coordinator for strategic implementation of project activities.
• Support to Field Facilitators to implement the project activity and maintain quality implementation.
• Analyze knowledge and behavior of women producers and Mobilize resources from public and private sectors for the producers and SMEs.
• Develop professional relationship with Department of livestock, Youth Development, Department of Cooperative and women affairs to link with Producer groups and SMEs.
• Building relationship with dairy processing and informal market actors (sweet soap, hotel) to sell the fresh milk and milk based products.
• Identify advocacy issues and design intervention for local level advocacy and organize district level advocacy and match making workshops.
• Identify the key constraints and challenges at HH and community level to promote women economic leadership.
• Collect data, prepare case studies, monthly, quarterly and six monthly progress reports and share with all concerned.
• Willing to work at char areas.
