Job Description / Responsibility

• Memo No: LGED/ PD/ GFRIDP/C-01 (Part- 1)/2013/ 456
• Request for Expression of Interest (EOI) for Selection & Employment of Individual Consultants
• The Local Government Engineering Department (LGED) has been allocated public funds from the Government of the People�s Republic of Bangladesh (GOB) towards the cost of : Greater Faridpur Rural infrastructure (1st revised) Development Project� and intends to apply part of the proceeds of this funds for payment under the contract for the provision of consultancy services for the project by Individual Consultant (National)
• The Local Government Engineering Department now invites eligible applicants for having their interest in providing the services/ Applicants are invited to provide their information so as to be qualified ot perform the services (complete CV with other details as required as per the Application Forms).
• The Consultant will be selected using the selection of individual consultant sub-method in accordance with the Public Procurement Rule, 2008 and SRFA issued by the GOB. It is expected that the services may be commenced on April/ 2015 and may be continued up to 30th, April/ 20177.

Additional Job Requirements

The applicant should have at least 05 years experience in the field of structural analysis and Design of Bridge maintaining high level of accuracy with the application of latest upgraded STAAD Pro Software

Interested applicants are required to submit their expressions of interest in accordance with the Application Forms and may obtain the Request for Application document from the office of the undersigned during normal office hours. Expressions of Interest (EOI) shall be submitted by the applicants on or before 12.00 noon on 26.02.2015 in sealed envelope delivered to the undersigned and be clearly marked �Request for Expressions of Interest� for selection of Bridge Design Engineer/ Persons who are already in employment shall send application through proper channel, otherwise they shall not be considered for appointment. The procuring entity reserves the right to accept any or reject all EOI�S without assigning any reason whatsoever.
